Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join an amazing secondary school in Peterborough. This is a part-time role (Monday-Wednesday), starting ASAP, with the opportunity to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for secondary school students.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• QTS is desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
• Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry with the ability to teach up to GCSE level.
• Experience in lesson planning, marking, and classroom management.
• A commitment to fostering students’ academic and personal growth.
